Dr. Andree Hohm holds a degree in electrical engineering and a PhD in Automotive Technologies.
From 2006 he was part of a research project at the Darmstadt University of Technology addressing advanced algorithms for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) to reduce accidents in challenging traffic situations.
He joined Continental in 2010 as software architect and project manager within the area of Automated Driving solutions at the Advanced Engineering Dept. of Continentals Chassis & Safety Division. Within this role he worked in many national as well as European research projects as the representative of Continental. From 2013 he accepted the position as Executive Strategy Assistant to the Executive Board of Continental. Since 2015 he shaped in different roles Continental´s approaches towards driverless vehicles.
Since 2020 he is responsible for the Autonomous Driving Program, comprising all pre-development efforts towards driverless mobility and fully autonomous vehicle functions.
