With a Doctorate in Engineering and a distinguished career journey across esteemed automotive entities such as IAV, Xpeng, and VW, Hao Sun bring extensive expertise in functional safety and vehicle-level testing, with a specialized focus on motor, ADAS and charging functions.

His tenure in the automotive industry has equipped him with a profound understanding of safety standards and testing methodologies, positioning him as a trusted authority in ensuring the reliability and safety of vehicle systems.

Currently, he serves in the Central Office of System Safety at Volkswagen AG, where he leads the PMT development in the realms of functional safety and SOTIF (Safety Of The Intended Functionality).
