The commitment of leading car manufacturers to enhance the performance of L3 passenger cars and to make L4 passenger cars available within the next 3–5 years leads to a demand for continuous improvement in automotive radar performance. The next generation of imaging radars must be more efficient in terms of both power and cost, while also delivering further performance improvements, not only in terms of range or resolution, but also in other key parameters such as sensitivity and dynamic range.
As in previous years, visitors to this year’s event will have once more the opportunity to take NXP’s demo car for a test drive around the busy streets of Berlin. This will provide them with an insight into the performance of a 24T24R imaging radar and demonstrate how it senses 4D, finer, further and always.
To pre-register a time slot for the live driving demo, please visit the NXP virtual booth and follow the link in the notes section or visit the NXP booth in the exhibition area.
