Mirko Franke took over project management positions for Automated Driving in 2014. Since May 2017 he has been appointed “Director Engineering Automated Driving Systems” of the Cross Domain Computing Solution division of Robert Bosch GmbH Germany. He studied mechanical engineering at University of Applied Sciences Esslingen and started his career at Robert Bosch GmbH in 2002. He has held several positions in the development and advanced development of networked chassis systems. In 2010 he become responsible for a system and advanced development unit at Bosch China, where he stayed 4 years, before he joined the automated driving sector back in Germany.
He is married, has 2 children and is a passionate basketball player.
