Ronny has 30 years of experience in the hi-tech industry, possesses a B.Sc. with honors in Physics and Mathematics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and holds 12 patents. In 1995 Ronny co-founded Comsys, a wireless communication start-up. Then in 2015, with Youval Nehmadi, he co-founded VayaVision, a sensor fusion and perception software company concentrating on the autonomous driving market monitoring the driving environment with 3D sensing and cognition.
VayaVision developed an innovative patented technology that enables best-in-class sensing, with added value cognition abilities at an affordable price. In July of 2020 VayaVision was acquired by LeddarTech, a leader in ADAS and AD technology. VayaVision’s VAYADrive sensor fusion and perception technology, combined with LeddarTech’s LeddarSense technology, enabled LeddarVision, an agnostic sensor fusion and perception stack for the automotive, mobility, and industrial vehicle markets.
