Tech.AD Europe 2020: L4+ Autonomous Mobility R&D

This year’s award-winning Tech.AD Europe was once again a great success! More than 350 of the leading autonomous vehicle technical experts gathered in Berlin in March to network, exchange knowledge and shape the future of the autonomous driving. Over 3 jam-packed days, attendees saw innovative case studies, networking sessions, a start-up innovation lab, as well as an Autonomous Driving Day, Icebreaker and best practices and much, much more!

With keynotes on functional safety, machine learning, deployment scenarios, embedded computer vision, integration of human driver behavior and 4D imaging radar with open modular architecture or situational awareness in autonomous vehicles as well as photonic technologies in automotive LiDAR, one thing became clear: the technical future of autonomous vehicle R&D is bright and advancements are being made swiftly!

Another highlight was the award ceremony on the first conference evening. The proud winner of the Tech.AD Award 2019 in the category ‘Most Innovative Active Safety or ADAS Technology / Product / Service’ was BrighterAI and their Deep Natural Anonymization project. In the second category, ‘Most Advanced Real-Life Testing & Simulation Techniques in Autonomous Driving’ Nobina Technologies’ solution about autonomous shuttles was voted first place.
