Sebastian Siegl is an experienced development specialist with a demonstrated background in verification and validation in complex system and function engineering throughout all project phases. His functions’ development experience is ranging from thermal management, safety, driver-assistance up to automated driving functions. He is skilled in autonomous vehicles, including the development pipeline, sensor technology, perception, machine learning, and project management. Sebastian is a strong operations professional with a Ph.D. in computer science. He possesses strong skills in leading vehicle-level testing and evaluation, especially within designing proving ground environments, with a focus on AD/ADAS testing capabilities. Sebastian is a highly accomplished professional in simulation, with a particular focus on virtual and hybrid ADAS/AD testing, XiL model development and integration for components, systems, and complete vehicles (conventional, hybrid, BEV), and virtual ECUs.
