Less Details

Autonomous driving development is fueled by data, yet accessing and managing high-quality, relevant data remains a significant bottleneck for ADAS innovators. Lotus Robotics presents a breakthrough: a comprehensive toolchain designed to empower automotive engineering to accelerate their autonomous driving initiatives. Our end-to-end solution, anchored by the cost-effective “RoboLogger” data collection device and a full-stack, whitebox SAAS platform “RoboGalaxy”, addresses the critical pain points of modern ADAS development. Our transparent approach offers complete customization, enabling partners to tailor data pipelines to their unique ADAS architectures and diverse data requirements. From robust data anonymization and annotation to seamless integration and global compliance, the Lotus Robotics toolchain provides a scalable and efficient data engineering capability. Join us to discover how our partner-centric approach and proven solutions, already validated in global production vehicles, can unlock your ADAS potential and drive the AV development forward.

In this session, you will:

  • Identify the key data bottlenecks hindering efficient ADAS development
  • Understand the cloud-native architecture and components of the Lotus Robotics Toolchain, including RoboLogger and the whitebox SAAS platform “RoboGalaxy”, and how to create an end-to-end data solution
  • Explore the benefits of a customizable and transparent “whitebox” data processing approach compared to traditional blackbox solutions, emphasizing control and adaptability
  • Gain insights of how you can accelerate AV development cycles, enhance data quality, ensure global data compliance, and ultimately empower your organization to lead in the AV development using data-driven strategy
Presentation

Speaker

Dr. Yang Song

Senior Algorithm Engineer, Lotus Tech Innovation Centre

Dr. Yang Song is at the forefront of data-driven AV development, serving as a key architect at Lotus Robotics. He architects Lotus Robotics' end-to-end data toolchain, a whitebox SAAS platform built on AWS, empowering automotive partners in global markets to accelerate their innovation. His expertise encompasses the full spectrum of the data pipeline, from cloud infrastructure and SAAS service architecture to data platform engineering for AI model training and validation. Prior to joining Lotus Robotics, Dr. Song contributed to the L4 level of AV development as a perception algorithm engineer for robotaxis at Motional. Holding a Ph.D. in robotics, Dr. Song combines technical skills with a passion for democratizing data engineering for AV development. Additionally, he oversees ADAS data compliance and management, ensuring adherence to automotive industry regulations. He is committed to empowering partners to navigate the complexities of data engineering and unlock the full potential of autonomous driving.

The Pop in Your Job – What drives you? Why do you love your job?
In my previous roles, I've seen firsthand the limitations of 'blackbox' data solutions. That's why I'm so passionate about what we're building at Lotus Robotics. We're not just providing a service; we're offering a 'whitebox' toolchain that puts you, the ADAS engineers, in control. Giving you that transparency, that ability to customize and truly understand your data pipeline – that's what I believe will unlock the next level of ADAS innovation. It's about empowerment, not just outsourcing.
