Tobias Antesberger is a Senior SOTIF engineer with over a decade of experience in the automotive industry, specializing in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Automated Driving (AD). He holds a degree in Physics from the Technical University of Munich and has a strong background in validation, real-world testing, and Safety of the Intended Functionality (SOTIF).
At Audi AG, Tobias plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and reliability of cutting-edge automotive technologies. He is responsible for developing suitable processes to apply ISO 21448:2018 and integrating them into existing corporate structures. His expertise extends to being an active member of the German delegation for the development of ISO 21448, contributing to the establishment of international safety standards.
Tobias is highly skilled in the verification and validation of complex systems and functions throughout all project phases. He is an expert in the efficient application of SOTIF and the derivation of requirements from SOTIF. His work encompasses a broad range of areas, including sensor technology, perception, and project management. He is dedicated to advancing the field of autonomous vehicles and enhancing the overall safety and performance of modern driving systems.
