Less Details

Autonomous mobility services will enable a new approach of urban mobility. A safe autonomous driving system is the core enabler for these services. To be competitive, the AD systems needs to provide a high uptime and ODD coverage. But generating a successful service needs a more holistic view on the overall product: The development and operation processes have to enable an efficient roll-out in different cities and regions. Remote services are required to support the customers as well as to operate and guide the vehicle. The vehicle on the one hand has to fulfill the specific customer needs for urban mobility and on the other hand has to provide necessary technical capabilities and redundancies. Well-defined service and maintenance processes have to be in place to reduce vehicle down-time.

In this session, you will learn more about:

  • Core challenges of bringing an autonomous driving system to mass production
  • Technology trends and solutions to enable L4 autonomous driving
  • Holistic view on technology, vehicle and supporting services for an urban autonomous mobility product
