Radar and camera sensor fusion is a pivotal technology in advancing automated parking within ADAS. By leveraging the complementary strengths of radar and camera sensors, sensor fusion enables accurate perception, object detection, and environmental understanding, which are critical for precise and safe automated parking. Radar sensors excel at detecting object distance, velocity, and working under poor visibility conditions, while camera sensors provide rich visual context for identifying objects, lane markings, and obstacles. Combining these sensor modalities enhances reliability, improves detection accuracy, and ensures robust system performance in complex parking scenarios. This presentation will outline the principles, architecture, and implementation of radar and camera sensor fusion in automated parking ADAS. Participants will gain insights into real-world challenges and solutions, as well as the potential future developments in this domain.

The Pop in Your Job – What drives you? Why do you love your job?
The current job is fascinating and challenges me every day. This has an immense potential for me to develop and innovate cutting edge technologies for ADAS. The most satisfying factor is at the end of the day is “my algorithms and systems performing hand in hand on the road successfully” providing the high-end safety for the driver and the occupants.
